Emmy winner Steve Buscemi has been announced as a new cast member of the second season of "Wednesday," starring Jenna Ortega.

Netflix renewed the series "Wednesday" for a second season in January 2023, following the success of its first season with Tim Burton.

Who is on the cast of season 2?

Steve Buscemi is the only new cast member to be announced though his role is not confirmed . Just Jared has speculated that he will be the new principal of Nevermore.

The main cast from Season 1, including Gwendoline Christie, Riki Lindhome, Jamie McShane, Hunter Doohan, Percy Hynes White, Emma Myers, Joy Sunday, Georgie Farmer, Naomi J. Ogawa, Christina Ricci, and Moosa Mostafa, will continue, with Catherine Zeta-Jones and Luis Guzman recurring as Morticia and Gomez.

The decision for a second season was made less than three months after the eight-episode Season 1 premiered. It became Netflix's most-watched original series ever, with over 252 million views, surpassing Stranger Things' Season 4 and Bridgerton Season 1.

Season 1 received 12 Emmy nominations, including Jenna Ortega's nomination for Lead Actress in a Comedy Series, making her the third Latina ever nominated in a leading actress category.
