He emphasised that Bhutto always strove for the betterment and development of the country and its people.

Mentioning the reference filed by President Asif Zardari, Shah quoted that Supreme Court has also acknowledged Bhutto Shaheed’s innocence and the mission of Quaid-e-Jamhuriat Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto to serve people would continue under the guidance of party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto, by adhering to Bhuttoism.

Meanwhile, Sindh Minister for agriculture, sports, youth affairs, inquiries and anti-corruption establishment, Sardar Muhammad Bakhsh Khan Mehr has said that Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto (ZAB) Shaheed was the foremost politician and scholar of the country. He served the poor without any discrimination.

In his message on the 45th anniversary of the PPP founder, Mehr said, Shaheed Bhutto did not bow down to anyone and did not surrender to pressure. As a result, Pakistan emerged as the first and only nuclear power in the Islamic world.

Mehr mentioned that Bhutto took revolutionary steps like organising Islamic Summit and introduction of National Identity Card. He gave lands to the homeless people and landless farmers.

Mehr further said that the historic decision of the presidential reference has come 45 years after the judicial killing of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Shaheed, in which his execution has been declared as judicial murder.
