The discussion focused on addressing current and backlog issues concerning both private and commercial vehicles, as well as the implementation of modern procedures to digitise the vehicle transfer system.

Sharjeel assured prompt resolution of the traders' concerns, stating that while paperwork for vehicle transfers will continue temporarily, it will soon be replaced by online procedures.

He emphasised that all stakeholders will be consulted, and traders' issues will be addressed as a priority.

Highlighting the importance of traders, particularly those in Karachi, in the national economy, Memon reiterated the Sindh government's commitment to resolve their problems.

He also reassured that other issues faced by traders, including challenges in vehicle registration, will be addressed promptly.

Members of the Automotive Traders and Importers Association, including Sajjad Bhatti, Araaf Paracha, Muhammad Akbar, Abdul Rahim, Amjad Aqil, and Ijaz Ahmed, were also present at the meeting.
