Timothee Chalamet made history as the youngest actor nominated for an Oscar in 2018 for his performance in "Call Me By Your Name."

He has since garnered acclaim for his roles in films such as "Beautiful Boy," "Little Women," as well as the recent box office hits "Wonka" and "Dune Part Two"

The 28-year-old actor has now entered into a first-look agreement with the studio, enabling Chalamet to present projects for consideration as potential roles or productions.

In a statement reported by DailyMail on Tuesday, Chalamet expressed his gratitude for the deal, stating, "These are studio heads who believe in real movie making, and I’m so grateful for their support as an actor, producer, and collaborator."

Warner Bros co-chairs and CEOs Mike De Luca and Pam Abdy also praised Chalamet in their press release issued on March 26.

"We are thrilled that Timothee has chosen our studio to be his creative home," they expressed.

The statement continued, "Over the last few years, we have admired not only Timothee’s commitment to his craft, which is evident in the range and depth of his varied roles, but also his unwavering dedication to give 100% of his time and attention to every project he has made here at Warner Bros. and elsewhere."

"His collaboration on the campaigns for Dune and Wonka is something we all enjoyed immensely, and the results speak for themselves," the executives added.

The first-look deal grants the actor the freedom to seek out projects he wishes to participate in, with Warner Bros. having the first option to back them.
