Zayn Malik and Miley Cyrus both have successfully collaborated with other artists in the past.

Musician Zayn Malik has opened up about his musical aspirations, and a collaboration with superstar Miley Cyrus is high on his list!

In a recent fan chat on Stationhead, the former One Direction star expressed admiration for Cyrus' music and a desire to work with her.

"I'd like to do a collaboration with her," he said of the Grammy winner. Malik continued: "I like her recent music a lot. She's got a sick voice."

Malik envisions a powerful creative synergy, noting their sounds would mesh well on his upcoming album, Room Under the Stairs. "I think we could do something really cool together, especially in line with what my new record sounds like," he shared.

He even sent a direct message to Cyrus, "Miley, if you hear this, and you're interested, I'm here. Let's do something."

A Zayn-Miley track would be a major pop culture moment. Malik has a history of successful collaborations with stars like Taylor Swift, Kehlani, Nicki Minaj, and Sia.

The singer also reminisced about his One Direction days, admitting he's been revisiting their music. "I've been listening to a bit of One Direction music recently, reminiscing," he said. "Good times. We made some good music as a band. We were pretty good."

Malik's new era kicks off with Room Under the Stairs, due May 17th. This album promises a raw and personal side of the artist.
