X-Men'97, the highly anticipated revival of the classic X-Men: The Animated Series, has debuted on Disney+ to critical acclaim.

The series has marked a promising start for the X-Men's official entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

The first two 33-minute episodes boast a perfect 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes, making it not only the highest-rated X-Men project but also the top-ranked Marvel series, surpassing Ms. Marvel's 98%.

Critics are praising the revival's faithfulness to the original series while offering a fresh take for modern audiences.

Fans are equally thrilled, with the series garnering a strong 95% audience score.  Packed with Easter eggs and nostalgic nods, X-Men'97 seems to be living up to the hype.

Just days before the highly anticipated premiere of X-Men ’97, the series' showrunner Beau DeMayo was abruptly let go by Marvel Studios.

DeMayo, a seasoned writer for Marvel, had completed work on both seasons of the X-Men: The Animated Series revival. The reason for this dismissal remains unclear.

The first two episodes of X-Men'97 are available for streaming on Disney+.
