National Day: Iran’s Azadi Tower dazzles with Pakistani colours

Pakistan's Ambassador to Iran attends video mapping ceremony at Azadi Tower for Pakistan Day and Nowruz festival

On the occasion of Pakistan Day, Iran’s famous Azadi Tower was illuminated with the colours of the green crescent flag in the capital of city of Tehran.

Pakistan's Ambassador to Iran Muhammad Mudassir Tipu attended the ceremony at Azadi Tower, where video mapping of Pakistan Day and Nowruz festival was done.

This is the first time in the history of Pakistan-Iran relations that such video mapping has been shown. Pictures of Pakistan's national monuments were also displayed along with the tunes of traditional instruments and the national anthems of both the countries were played.

The national flag of Pakistan was illuminated alongside the Iranian flag to show the close and brotherly ties between the two neighbouring countries. A large number of Pakistani and Iranian people enjoyed the event.

Ambassador Mudassir Tipu said that such opportunities help strengthen ties between peoples and cultures, it is a historic moment in the relationship between the two brotherly countries that share culture, history and traditions.
