Entertainment Tonight's interview with royal expert Katie Nicholl revealed that Prince William is particularly angered by the relentless rumors surrounding Kate Middleton's absence.

According to sources close to the royal family, these wild speculations include accusations of plastic surgery, specifically a facelift, and even the outlandish claim that the Duchess is in a coma.

The Palace had hoped the recently released video of Kate and Prince William shopping would dispel the rumors, but unfortunately, the unfounded theories persist, further exacerbating William's frustration.

"William and Kate have been pretty shocked and genuinely surprised by the wild rumors that are circulating on the internet," Nicholl told Entertainment Tonight. “There’s a sense of frustration, possibly even anger, certainly on William’s part.”

“The TMZ video really should have quashed all of the fevered speculation about the Princess of Wales, her health, her recovery, and it simply hasn’t,” Nicholl said. “You would have thought that the video, which showed her walking at quite a brisk pace, carrying a shopping bag, looking pretty healthy and happy, and chatting in a very relaxed way with her husband, would have just dampened out all of the rife speculation that has really been circulating on the internet for weeks now. But, unbelievably, many of those theories are still circulating on the internet.”

Despite official statements from the palace confirming Kate Middleton's recovery from “planned abdominal surgery,” online rumors persist with outlandish claims.

These include unfounded accusations of plastic surgery and even fabricated issues within her marriage to Prince William.

Based on the statement released by Kensington Palace prior to Kate's abdominal surgery, it is anticipated that the Duchess of Cambridge will gradually re-emerge into public life around Easter.

This 'soft launch' approach aims to ease her back into royal duties.
