PTI leader Tayyaba Raja has criticised her party for its decision to nominate Sanam Javed as a candidate for the Senate polls.

In a post on social media platform X, Tayyaba wrote that it was unfair to elevate one individual while ignoring the sacrifices made by others.

Tayyaba inquired how Sanam was repeatedly granted bail by the anti-terrorism court.

She added that Sanam was arrested eight times because she was granted bail on seven occasions.

The PTI leader pointed out that Aliya Hamza and Khadija Shah were granted bail by the Lahore High Court after nine months following the reformation of the bench 15 times.

“How can the ATC repeatedly grant bail to an individual? This is a major question.”

Tayyaba raised the question about how a woman was in the headlines when there was a bar on the coverage of other PTI female leaders.

“All of us are silent only till the return of [PTI founding chairman] Imran Khan,” she continued.

She called for remaining patient until the time when everyone would speak up.
