Body found stuffed in bag identified in Karachi

Deceased hailed from Larkana, had two wives and worked at a hairdresser's shop

Body of a man, found stuffed in a bag in Surjani Town Lyari 36A, has been identified as 35-year-old Shahnawaz Mazari. The deceased was a resident of New Karachi and worked at a hairdresser's shop. The deceased was missing for two days.

The body of the deceased with cut wrist was found on Wednesday morning.

Ghulam Sarwar Mazari, the uncle of the deceased, informed the media people that on Tuesday night, Shahnawaz contacted his family and said, he would bring items for Sehri. After the call, his family found his mobile phone switched off. Worried about him, the family members started searching for him. They also visited the Bilal Colony and Surjani Town police stations, but received no response. On Thursday, they received a call from Surjani Town police station informing them that a body was found. The family identified the deceased as Shahnawaz Mazari.

The deceased had two wives and his second marriage took place ten months ago. He had three daughters. Ghulam Sarwar further said the body of the deceased would be taken to Larkana for burial.
