PESHAWAR:

Special Assistant to Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister on Industries, Commerce, and Technical Education, Abdul Karim Tordher on Monday stressed the need for productive efforts to develop the industrial sector and stabilise the province economically. He pledged to take all possible steps towards this goal.

Expressing his views during an introductory meeting at the Industries Department in Civil Secretariat, the SAPM maintained that transparency within the system was his top priority, and that he would not tolerate any hindrance in the affairs of the industries department.

He received a detailed briefing on the Department of Industries, Commerce, and Technical Education, along with its subsidiary organisations, regarding their responsibilities, activities, objectives, and performance.

He directed all sub-sectors of the industries department to take steps to increase their revenue and to introduce new trades as per market demands in the technical sector of the province, aiming to prepare market-oriented skilled manpower.
