Suspect involved in trade of commercial explosives held
The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) Intelligence Wing has apprehended a suspect involved in the illegal trade of commercial explosives. Five sacks of fireworks were also recovered during the raid which was conducted on the basis of intelligence information in Orangi Town. The suspect has been identified as Abid Hussain. The arrest and seizure of five sacks of fireworks were made possible through intelligence gathered on this covert operation.
CTD in-charge Raja Umar Khattab revealed that the arrested suspect had been involved in the illicit business of commercial explosives for an extended period. Subsequent actions are underway based on the information gleaned from the suspect in custody.
