Health Concerns: DHO calls on clinics to get registered
All unregistered medical clinics, laboratories and X-ray clinics in Bannu to register themselves
BANNU:
District Health Officer Dr Naik Nawaz Khan has directed all unregistered medical clinics, laboratories and X-ray clinics in Bannu to register themselves with the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Health Regulatory Authority.
He said that the registration of clinics was extremely important as the step would ensure elimination of quackery in the district. The unregistered clinics and laboratories were playing with the lives of people, he added.
Khan also warned local chemists to stop selling unregistered medicines to the consumers. He said legal action would be taken against all the chemists who were violating the Drug Act.
