Malala 'can't wait another day for a ceasefire' in Palestine amidst criticism over silence

Malala added her own thoughts to draw attention to the plight

In a recent social media post on X, Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai addressed the dire situation in Gaza, expressing her concern and calling for urgent action. Malala, who had faced criticism earlier for expressing condolences to Jon Stewart for the loss of his dog but not speaking up fervently for Palestine, shared a post shedding light on the challenging conditions faced by the people in Gaza.

Quoting a post that highlighted the harsh realities at a school in Rafah, Gaza, Malala added her own thoughts to draw attention to the plight of the residents. The caption of the original post read, "Shocked by conditions at this school in Rafah, Gaza. 4500 here come from Gaza City, Khan Younis etc. The disabled, the pregnant and the newborn share 18 latrines with 4500 others. Malnutrition, epidemic disease and trauma is everywhere. NRC providing all the aid we can get in."
