DIG South, Syed Asad Raza, reiterated the stringent prohibition against such flagrant displays of weaponry, emphasising the necessity for swift law enforcement action.

Reports suggest that batch bunk events, a tradition among DHA schools and colleges, occasionally witness instances of juvenile delinquency. The event in question was orchestrated via WhatsApp invitations, with the ensuing viral videos aiding law enforcement in identifying the perpetrators. Additional measures, including surveillance footage analysis through Command and Control and Safe City cameras, are underway to address the situation comprehensively.

In parallel, authorities have reached out to the college administration, urging them to enforce disciplinary measures against students involved in organising the event. Karachi Police reaffirmed their commitment to curbing incidents of aerial firing, emphasising the need to deter such actions that sow fear and endanger public safety.

Tumhara Abba | 8 months ago | Reply Why isn t Cedar College name mentioned here The mass number of students were from Cedar College and then Nixor. The students who opened fire were from Cedar College. Every college name should be mentioned so they should be equally blamed as well instead of putting this blame game on the students. The colleges should be responsible.
