Tribal elders laud Pakistan Army’s efforts in war against terror
Utmanzai tribal elders from North Waziristan convened a meeting with Corps Commander Peshawar, Lieutenant General Sardar Hassan Azhar Hayat, expressing profound appreciation for the unwavering dedication of the Pakistan Army in combating terrorism.
In a gathering marked by mutual respect and solidarity, the tribal elders lauded the sacrifices made by the Pakistan Army in the relentless battle against terrorism.
They emphasised the significant value the tribal populace places on these sacrifices, underscoring the pivotal role of the military in ensuring regional security.
Lt Gen Hayat reiterated the Pakistan Army's steadfast commitment to the welfare of tribal communities. He affirmed that the army is diligently utilising all available resources to uplift the tribal areas, aiming to foster development and prosperity.

Addressing the concerns of local youth empowerment, he highlighted collaborative efforts between the Pakistan Army and the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa government. Concrete measures are being taken to facilitate increased representation of youth in various sectors, particularly in mineral exploitation and education provision, he added.
Expressing gratitude for the unwavering support of the tribal populace, Lt Gen Hayat commended their resilience and solidarity in standing alongside the Pakistan Army throughout the anti-terrorism campaign.
In response, tribal elders reaffirmed their steadfast commitment to supporting the Pakistan Army and other law enforcement agencies in safeguarding the nation's integrity.
