KARACHI: The Trading Corporation of Pakistan (TCP) has said a ship carrying 35,000 tons of imported urea has arrived and berthed at the Gwadar Port. Two more vessels – Siam Topaz and Warnow Merker – each carrying 25,000 tons of urea are scheduled to arrive at the port on September 7 and 8, respectively. The 35,000 tons of urea brought by vessel ‘Hyderabad’ has been imported from Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) under the Saudi Fund for Development, which is in addition to 50,000 tons, already supplied by the corporation in July under the same arrangement. National Fertiliser Marketing Limited (NFML) will transport the imported urea from the port for sale to farmers.
