He’s my love so I can’t even get mad: Mansha Pasha pens birthday wish for husband Jibran Nasir

Actor took to IG with candid video showing Jibran’s mischief while taking photos

Entertainment Desk February 11, 2024

Famous lawyer, civil rights and husband of Pakistani actor Mansha Pasha, Jibran Nasir celebrated his 37th birthday on Saturday. The occasion coincided with post-election 2024 flurry in which Jibran ran as an independent candidate for Karachi’s PS-110 constituency. Despite failing to clinch the seat, the activist's spirit for change remains strong as he marked his birthday in an intimate affair with Mansha.

The actor took to her Instagram handle with a sweet birthday wish for her beau alongside a candid video of the duo struggling to take pictures. In light-hearted humour, Jibran can be seen refusing to indulge his wife’s requests on how to pose, resulting in amusing snapshots.

In the caption, the Laal Kabootar actor attributed their lack of pictures together as a couple to Jibran’s shenanigans. “He’s the reason we hardly have photos together but he’s my love so I can’t even get mad,” she reiterated her deep affection for her husband.

Adding an IG version of American singer Pharrell Williams’ hit song Happy to the post, she furthered on, “Happy birthday Jibran Nasir, hope you have the most wonderful year (with me), I love you.”

Last year, Mansha made a guest appearance on the FWhy Podcast where she revealed new details of how her relationship with Jibran began on the internet, evolved over time, and eventually culminated in marriage.

The celebrity shared with host Frieha Altaf snippets of her journey from nurturing a deep friendship with Jibran online and offline to tying the knot with the famous lawyer and civil rights activist.

With a conversation spanning an hour and 19 minutes, Mansha and Frieha bonded over their shared experiences and observations, collected over the many years the two have worked in the Pakistani entertainment industry. Mansha spoke honestly about her childhood, early family life, and how she started out as a line producer and then slowly made her way into mainstream acting by taking up small and supporting roles.
