Faisal Vawda’s prediction made days before the general elections 2024 has come true. He had offered to buy an air ticket for PML-N founder Nawaz Sharif for London when his party’s senator Irfan Siddiqui said that the PTI-backed Independent candidates would stay loyal to their party after winning the elections.

“If Siddiqui is confident of PTI not losing its independent candidates, then Nawaz Sharif must plan his return to London,” said Vawda while speaking in Geo News talk-show “Capital Talk” on January 24.

Earlier, the minister also declared the elections of 2024 as a “Go Nawaz Go” moment, citing a lack of clear majority for any single party.

He asserted that if Nawaz insists on a fourth term with coalition support, the emerging government is likely to face internal challenges, especially with PPP co-chairperson Asif Ali Zardari in opposition.

Predicting the aftermath, Vawda predicted that the “known faces” would align with the opposition, while lesser-known figures who secured seats with PTI backing would join the treasury benches.
