A large number of women reached polling stations in Multan to excercise their right to vote in the general elections.
Different female-specific polling stations in constituencies including NA-149, NA-150, NA-148 besides PP-214, PP-215, and PP-218 witnessed the arrival of women voters from 8:00am onwards. In fact, young female voters dominated the demographics of voters in the city.
Some female voters at different stations said that elderly siblings from their families were having difficulties reaching respective booths to cast votes as votes of a family were registered with different booths.
