Documentaries on historical places planned
Caretaker Culture Minister of Sindh, Junaid Ali Shah, has announced plans to collaborate with international filmmakers in creating documentaries showcasing historical places in Pakistan.
The primary goal of these films is to promote Pakistani culture among the country's youth. Minister Shah conveyed these intentions during an event held on Sunday at the Quaid-e-Azam House Museum, coinciding with the poster and trailer launch of the upcoming movie "Hum Sab." Notable personalities such as actors Saud, Jawaria Saud, Ali Khan, Sajid Hasan, Amna Ilyas, and other film stars were present at the occasion.

The film is scheduled for release on August 14, 2024, and aims to convey a message of patriotism to its audience. The cast features renowned actors including Javed Sheikh, Saud, Jawaria Saud, Ali Khan, Sajid Hasan, Adnan Shah Tipu, among others, with Ayaan Hussain serving as the director and Zeeshan Junaid as the writer.
Shah highlighted his prior role as the Minister of Culture in 2018. During that time, he oversaw the renovation of Quaid-e-Azam House, making it accessible to the public. Junaid Ali Shah also announced plans to invite Turkish teams to Pakistan for the production of documentaries focused on historical and touristic sites.
