Atif Aslam returns to Bollywood after 7 whole years with ‘Love Story of 90’s’

Set to be the year’s big hit, singer’s track might get him another entry on film’s album

In an exciting development, Pakistani singer-songwriter who has garnered cross-border fame with his heart-melting vocals will be making a much-anticipated comeback to Bollywood with a romantic song for Love Story of 90's, as reported by India Today.

Produced by Haresh Sangani and Dharmesh Sangani, LSO90’s is directed by Amit Kasaria and stars the talented Adhyayan Suman alongside Miss Universe Diva, Divita Rai. The film marks Atif’s return to B-Town after 7 years to the delight of the singer’s fans on both sides of the border.

Expressing their excitement about this momentous collab, the producers shared, "We are very ecstatic as Atif Aslam has sung the very first song in our film LSO90's. Fans of Atif Aslam will be thrilled. He is making a return in Bollywood through our film."
 
The Sangani brothers elaborated on the challenge of bringing Atif on board, stating, "It was a challenge to bring Atif Aslam on board as he focuses on the storyline and the ensemble of the cast. He was really impressed and prepared to lend his voice to the film's song. It's a moment of pride and joy for us."

As per the film’s team, the romantic melody sung by the renowned crooner aligns beautifully with the film’s title and is poised to be a hit in 2024. “It's a harmonious blend of visuals, lyrics and music. He has only sung one song in the flick but we are considering creating another track with him," mentioned the producers.

They furthered on, "In the Bollywood industry, upon learning about his comeback, there's an assumption by the fans that the romantic song will be exceptional. Indeed, let's hope for the best!” 

Apart from Atif, the film’s soundtrack features other top singers like Udit Narayan, Amit Mishra, and Aman Trikha. On Tuesday, the Aadat singer came out with his first musical offering of the year, Jee Ve Sohneya Jee, title track to the posthumous Punjabi film. 

Starring Pakistani actor Imran Abbas and Indian actor Simi Chahal, the film is a much-awaited cross-border collaboration. Directed by Thapar and produced by Sunny Raj, the film is set to be a poetic ode to youthful romance against the breathtaking landscapes of Punjab.
