Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi Ameer, Engineer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that the interim government should take concrete measures instead of mere lip service.
Speaking at a press conference at JI Karachi headquarters, he conveyed that the deadline for rectifying the intermediate examination results has passed, giving the government two options either to promptly correct the results or face strong protest. Naeem stated that despite the party's busy schedule due to the election activities, the issue still remains a top priority.

He disclosed that the party had already dispatched a letter to the interim chief minister, urging swift resolution and preserving relevant documents. He criticised the Pakistan People Party (PPP), citing mismanagement in the education sector despite a substantial budget.
