LHC’s Justice Shahid Bilal Hassan on Monday sought a response from the ECP on a plea filed by PTI's former chief minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervez Elahi for replacement of ‘donkey cart’, an election symbol granted to him by ECP, with another symbol, 'peacock'.
The petitioner's counsel Amir Saeed Rawn argued that the the Supreme Court allowed petitioner Elahi to contest general elections and that he is contesting from PP-32 Gujrat for the seat of provincial assembly.
