Terrorist killed in North Waziristan IBO

Naikman Ullah was involved in numerous terrorist activities including target killing of civilians, says ISPR

Security forces on Monday killed a terrorist during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s North Waziristan district, the military said in a statement.

During the conduct of the operation, according to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), an intense fire exchange took place between Pakistani troops and terrorists as a result of which a terrorist named Naikman Ullah was killed.

The statement said that the killed terrorist remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities including target killing of innocent civilians. Weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the killed terrorist, it added.

ISPR said that a sanitisation operation is being conducted to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area. It further said that the security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country.
