19 held for illegally occupying bungalow in DHA

KARACHI:

Darakhshan police foiled an attempt to illegally occupy a bungalow in Defence Phase VI, arrested 19 persons and recovered weapons from their possession.

According to the details, Darakhshan police after being informed by the bungalow owner about the illegal activity, reached the scene on Khayaban Shahbaz.

They detained the armed persons and seized weapons, bullets and vehicles and registered a case against 19 accused including one Sufi Jameel, most probably the head of the gang. A man named Tahir fled the scene. Seven persons have also been nominated in the case.

The police have also filed three separate cases on the complaint of the duty officer of Darakhshan police station regarding the weapons recovered from the arrested accused.
