Aseefa highlights PPP’s people-friendly manifesto

Expresses hope that party will win in Punjab including Lahore

LAHORE:

Leader of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Aseefa Bhutto Zardari has urged the supporters to vote for PPP in the upcoming general elections.

Speaking at a workers' convention in PP-161 and PP-160, Aseefa asked the participants to support Bilawal Bhutto for 300 units of free electricity, improved health facilities, prosperity for farmers, and an end to hunger.

She also highlighted PPP's people-friendly manifesto, as well as party's existing development work, particularly the government hospitals for everyone in Sindh, which she said were already benefitting the people.

Aseefa reiterated PPP's commitment to address the concerns of the poor.

She cited ongoing efforts in Sindh to provide and build houses for flood victims. She urged voters to elect PPP on February 8, so that the status and living standard of masses could be elevated besides doubling the salaries.

She expressed confidence saying, united, they could change Pakistan's destiny.
Earlier, she received a warm welcome from PPP women activists at the convention.

In her address, she also mentioned Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto's legacy, stressing the party's commitment to the values the PPP founder instilled, such as contributing to the Constitution and securing the nation's nuclear capabilities.

Aseefa Bhutto expressed the hope that PPP would win in Punjab, including Lahore.
