Election Commission of Pakistan has taken action against 37 female presiding officer who remained absent from the election training in Kurram tribal district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.
ECP has ordered stopping the salaries of these POs as the training for the rest of the staff has been going on in full swing. ECP has contacted K-P’s chief secretary in this regard and directed him to take strict action against the absent polling staff.

In the first phase salaries of 37 female officers have been stopped.It has been learned that around 6.6 per cent of the staff has been absent of training and ECP has ordered strict departmental action against the absent staff including school teachers from the education department.
