Governor Muhammad Balighur Rehman promulgated the Punjab Agricultural Marketing Regulatory Authority Amendment Ordinance 2023 for the third time on Monday.
The ordinance stood repealed since December after the completion of 90 days since the previous promulgation.

According to an official announcement, the Punjab governor approved the re-promulgation of the ordinance as it was necessary in light of the instructions of the Election Commission of Pakistan for the termination of the services of the heads of all institutions appointed on a political basis.
