City braces for another cold spell

Met Office indicates potential arrival of another western weather system through Balochistan by end of this month

Over the upcoming three days, the city is expected to encounter partly cloudy weather with cold nights descending into to colder mornings.

The minimum temperature for the city on Friday stands at 13.5 degrees Celsius, while Jinnah Terminal reported a minimum of 12.2 degrees Celsius. As the month concludes, there is a chance of a new western weather system entering the country through Balochistan.

Karachi observed partly cloudy skies accompanied by north-east winds from Balochistan reaching a maximum speed of 18 kilometers per hour on Friday. The Pakistan Meteorological Department noted a minimum temperature of 13.5 degrees Celsius in the city, with Jinnah Terminal documenting 12.2 degrees Celsius.

ReadK-P braces for intense cold weather

The Early Warning Center of the Pakistan Meteorological Department predicts partly cloudy and cool nights for the next three days, with minimum temperatures ranging from 12 to 14 degrees Celsius.

During this period, North-East (Balochistan) / South-West winds from the sea may prevail, and fog is expected in the mornings in most cities of the province.

The Meteorological Office indicates the potential arrival of another western weather system through Balochistan by the end of this month.
