The District Tuberculosis (TB) Diagnostic Centre was inaugurated at the Rural Health Centre (RHC) Kangra on Friday.
The centre was recently shifted from the Basic Health Unit (BHU) Meelam to the RHC Kangra to provide better access to TB diagnosis and treatment for the community.
The new centre is equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic tools and facilities and is staffed by trained healthcare professionals.
Haripur District Health Officer Dr Syed Naser Shah emphasised the importance of early detection and treatment in controlling the spread of the disease. He also highlighted the government's efforts to combat TB and improve public health in the district.

The University of Haripur's Department of Biology recently organised a captivating medicinal plant exhibition, showcasing a diverse array of therapeutic, diuretic, painkiller, and diabetic-related plants.
The event aimed to educate attendees about the various uses of these plants in promoting human health and well-being.
