City Mayor Murtaza Wahab has announced the launch of an initiative that aims to train citizens to provide immediate emergency aid during heart attacks and injuries, ultimately saving precious lives.
The initiative is the result of collaboration between the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) and the Pakistan Life Savers Programme.

The training will commence under the City Warden Department, targeting thousands of Karachiites, particularly the youth, with the goal of making Karachi a city known for its life-saving capabilities.
Expressing concern over the loss of lives due to heart attacks and injuries in accidents like road mishaps and fire incidents in the metropolitan city, the mayor underlined the urgency of addressing this issue.
