In a horrifying incident, unidentified assailants brutally murdered 11 members of a single family in the Lakki Marwat district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.
The shocking discovery unfolded when local residents stumbled upon eight lifeless bodies in one house, prompting them to mobilize armed villagers to confront the attackers.
Upon police arrival, the grim reality revealed a total of 11 corpses in two adjacent houses, rather than the initially reported eight.

Tariq Habib, the District Police Officer, revealed that the victims were from the households of two brothers, Tabidar and Alabardar, situated just outside the village. The brutal slaying claimed the lives of the two brothers, their wives, children, and a nephew who was a guest at the time.
Disturbingly, the incident had occurred days earlier but went unnoticed until local villagers, prompted by the discovery of eight bodies, ventured to the desolate location kilometers away from the village.
Habib suggested potential insider involvement in the heinous act, noting the presence of an untouched bed, indicating a degree of familiarity with the premises.
Additionally, he mentioned a previous loss within the same family several months ago.
