Three killed in explosion in Afghanistan capital
Local official says four others injured; no group has claimed responsibility for Kabul attack

At least three people were killed Tuesday in a bomb blast in the Afghan capital, according to an official.
"Today at around 3:50 PM, a land mine exploded on the road behind a Mercedes car in the Alokhilo area of the 16th district of Kabul. Unfortunately, 3 civilians were martyred and 4 others were injured," Khalid Zadran, a spokesman for the Kabul Security Department, run by the interim Taliban administration, wrote on X.

Zadran said security forces arrested one suspect during a search operation in the area.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
The latest explosion occurred after at least 25 people were killed or wounded in a blast in district 6, or PD6, in Kabul late Saturday.

The UN mission in Afghanistan said later that the blast targeted the ethnic Hazara community in the western Dasht-e Barchi area of the capital.
The Hazaras are one of Afghanistan’s main ethnic groups who are also present in neighbouring Pakistan and Iran.
