Cold gusts from northwest heading towards Karachi

Lowest temperature in Sindh was recorded at 5 degree Celsius in Mohenjo Darro

KARACHI:

Two northwesterly systems entering the country via Balochistan are likely to send chilly winds to Karachi, Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) said in its synopsis for Tuesday.

The ongoing cold snap in the port city saw early morning temperature dropping to 12.5 degree Celsius on Monday. The lowest temperature in Sindh was recorded at 5 degree Celsius in Mohenjo Darro.

According to the PMD Early Warning Centre strong winds may prevail in the city from today (Tuesday) due to which the temperature will drop further.
