Judge directs jail superintendent to carry out court's Dec 22 orders

RAWALPINDI:

Civil Judge Qudratullah has issued a written order fixing Jan 10 as date for indictment of Pakistan Tehreeke-e-Insaf founder chairman Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi in an alleged unlawful marriage case.

The written order said that all the document copies related to the case are provided to the accused while the charge sheet in the case will be framed on Jan 10.

The lawyers of the accused requested to give ample access to the public and media representatives. Regarding the presence of the public and media representatives in the court, the court has issued an order dated Dec 22.

Judge Qudratullah said the Adiala Jail superintendent should ensure execution of the court’s Dec 22 orders.The order stated that the number of people in the court and security matters were the domain of the Adiala Jail superintendent.

“The Adiala Jail superintendent will decide on the number of people keeping in mind the availability of space in the court.”
