Nine injured due to celebratory firing in Hyderabad

In Shaheed Benazirabad three people were arrested for aerial firing

HYDERABAD:

The celebratory aerial firing and fireworks during the new year night resulted in injuries to nine persons including children and a woman.

According to a health official of Liaquat University Hospital, nine gunshot victims came to the health facility. The injured were brought to the hospital from different areas of the city.

The injured included 10-year-old Ali Gul, 15-yearold Abdul Rehman, 25-yearold Shahid, 26-year-old Faisal Thebo, 27-year-old Shan Jaffar, 30-year-old, Saeed Nasir Memon, Mudassar Iftikhar and 60-year-old Tahira Hassan. Meanwhile, the Hyderabad police arrested three suspects from the limits of A-Section, Baldia and Market police stations and booked them in the FIRs. Muhammad Kumail Pathan, Saqib Solangi and Syed Ahsan Shah are among those arrested and charged.

Moreover, in Shaheed Benazirabad three people were arrested for aerial firing, two in Mirpurkhas and five in Larkana. Additionally, 16 individuals were detained on New Year's Eve for hooliganism.
