PML-N seeks public input for election manifesto
The Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) has initiated an online portal, inviting Pakistanis from both within the country and abroad to share their views on its manifesto before the upcoming general elections set for February 8.
The party’s supremo Nawaz Sharif-led has invited input from professionals, experts, overseas Pakistanis, and citizens to contribute ideas for the party’s 2024 election manifesto.
PMLN Secretary-General, Ahsan Iqbal, announced the launching of the portal in a tweet while extending an invitation to professionals, experts, the diaspora, and citizens to contribute their suggestions and proposals.
The portal covers over 32 themes including economy, energy, education, health, sports, foreign affairs, agriculture, women empowerment, information technology, human rights and minorities, youth affairs, national heritage, culture and films, infrastructure development and transport, the supremacy of the constitution, initiatives for special persons, and labour, manpower, and peasants.
Other vital areas addressed within this expansive range include trade, industry, and natural resources, sustainable development and climate change, poverty alleviation, reduction in inflation and employment, legal reforms and access to justice, CPEC, accountability and elimination of corruption, local governments, religious affairs and interfaith harmony, media and freedom of speech.
The contributors have been also asked to share their views on national security, water management, overseas Pakistanis, tourism, population management, and democratic governance reforms as well as the public sector.

The portal also seeks to facilitate targeted input through sub-themes, allowing contributors to provide suggestions directly related to specific aspects of each theme.
Contributors have the flexibility to upload their suggestions and proposals in various file formats. Alternatively, they can utilise the suggestion field available on the portal for direct input.

In a tweet, PML-N Senior Vice President and Chief Organiser Maryam Nawaz said, “PML-N’s unbreakable bond with the people is its greatest strength! We’re excited to take this cornerstone of our politics into the digital age with an online portal that empowers every Pakistani, resident and overseas, to directly contribute to writing PML-N’s Election Manifesto 2024”.
She said that PML-N encourages Pakistanis from all walks of life, “to visit the www.pmln2024.com portal to enable the collective wisdom of this great nation to set our course towards prosperity and progress”.
