Bollywood actor and producer Arbaaz Khan recently exchanged vows with makeup artist Shura Khan in a private Nikkah ceremony hosted at his sister Arpita Khan Sharma’s home in Mumbai.

The intimate affair saw the presence of Arbaaz's son Arhaan, his brothers Salman Khan and Sohail Khan, along with his parents Salim Khan and Salma Khan, as well as close friends like Raveena Tandon and Sanjay Kapoor.

Reflecting on the event, Salim Khan, a veteran screenwriter and Arbaaz's father, shared that he respected his son's decision to marry Shura and refrained from interfering in their union.

In an interaction with News18 Showsha, Salim said that he is extremely happy for his son, and has given the couple his blessings. Speaking about the Dabangg actor's decision to get married, Salim said, “They decided to get married. Mere hisaab se, ye koi gunaah nahi hai (according to me, it is not a crime). I am happy for him and I have given my blessings to the bride and the groom.”

He added that there was no reason for Arbaaz to discuss his decision to remarry with anyone in the family. He said that his son is young, educated, mature, and capable of making his own decisions.

“There is no need for my permission. If he is happy then nothing else matters. He just mentioned that he was going to get married and I said that’s fine. I also feel that it’s better not to interfere in anyone’s life as it causes problems,” he said.

Arbaaz previously took to Instagram and shared pictures with his wife couple with an adorable caption. Sharing the pictures, Arbaaz wrote, "In the presence of our loved ones, me and mine begin a lifetime of love and togetherness from this day on! Need all your blessings and good wishes on our special day!"

For the wedding, Arbaaz donned a floral bandhgala with beige trousers while matching with his bride Shura, who wore a floral peach-coloured lehenga choli with a matching dupatta. This is Arbaaz's second marriage. He was previously married to model Malaika Arora for 19 years.
