Ayaz termed greatest Sindhi poet of his time

Ayaz is name of entire movement of awareness, says minister

HYDERABAD:

Sindh Caretaker Minister for Information Ahmed Shah termed Sheikh Ayaz the greatest poet of the Sindh Language of the last century.

"Ayaz is the name of the entire movement of awareness," he said at the closing ceremony of Ayaz Melo, at Sindh Museum tonight.

Ayaz Melo or Ayaz's Fair should be held in an open place where 20,000 or more people can come, he said. Earlier talking to media persons, he said that it is the duty of Sindh government to conduct peaceful elections.

He said that the interim Sindh government is neutral in the election process. "We have not received any complaint or objection from any political party regarding election process."
