Vows to crush terrorists playing with innocent lives in Balochistan

Caretaker Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Ali Mardan Domki has vowed to crush terrorists playing with innocent lives in the province.

The chief minister said that the provincial and federal governments were committed to addressing the genuine grievances of the masses of Balochistan within the parameters of the constitution.

In commemoration of the 147th birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Balochistan, including Quetta, echoed with enthusiasm as the province united to honour the Father of the Nation.

The main function in this regard was organised at the historic Quaid Residency in Ziarat, where Balochistan’s chief minister, as the chief guest, underscored the steadfast commitment to eliminate terrorism from the province.

Expressing resolve against the forces of terrorism, Mir Ali Mardan Khan Domki asserted that the malicious intentions of terrorists would be crushed.

He called on them to surrender and embrace a peaceful life under the umbrella of Pakistan, reiterating the collective determination to ensure the region’s prosperity and security.

Against the backdrop of the historic Quaid Residency, the chief minister unfurled the national flag, symbolising the enduring spirit of unity and resilience against those seeking to disrupt the peace.

The event drew notable figures such as Corps Commander 12 Corps Lt Gen Rahat Naseem Khan, IGFC North Chaudhry Amir Ajmal, caretaker provincial ministers, tribal elders of Balochistan, and a large number of people.

Addressing the gathering, the chief minister paid tribute to the visionary leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, emphasising that the sacrifices made during the nation’s formation have bestowed upon us the cherished gift of Pakistan.

The caretaker chief minister highlighted the rapid progress on pivotal projects in Balochistan, including the Pakistan-China Economic Corridor, with the Pakistan Army and Frontier Corps actively contributing to security and public interest initiatives.

The commemorative event also featured captivating presentations by students from FC School Loralai and a local school in Ziarat, who showcased tableaus and performed patriotic songs, adding a touch of cultural richness to the celebration.

The nation is celebrating the 147th birth anniversary of the founder of the nation, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, on Monday with ardour and enthusiasm.

The day began with gun salutes and visits to mausoleums in provinces and the federal capital.

To celebrate the day, special events were arranged by governmental, political, social as well as non-governmental entities and forums.

Rich tributes were paid by participants to Jinnah’s exemplary vision and diligent efforts that led to the creation of Pakistan.

A 21-gun salute was performed in Karachi and prayers were offered at Quaid’s mausoleum.
