Delivery man gunned down
Armed suspects allegedly shot and killed a 45-year-old pizza delivery man on Juranwala Road on Sunday. Police apprehended close relatives of both assailants and registered a case after handing the body of the deceased over to his heirs after a post-mortem.
Rashid, a resident of Chak No. 215 RB Faisal Town, ordered a pizza from a restaurant in Koh-e-Noor.
The delivery man, 45-year-old Kashif, delivered the pizza and a dispute erupted when he demanded Rs3,500 from Rashid and Ansar after the delivery. In the midst of the heated argument, the suspected assailants shot Kashif in the stomach.

He was shifted to hospital after receiving on-site medical assistance, where he succumbed to his wounds.
Upon receiving information about the incident, a contingent of police officers, including DSP Saddar Rana Wasim Faraz and SHO Saddar Aftab Wasim, arrived at the scene. They took custody of the deceased's body, handing it over to his family after a post-mortem and initiated legal proceedings.
Close relatives of the accused Kashif and Ansar were detained.
DSP Saddar Rana Wasim Faraz mentioned that the accused were traced through the number used to place the order.
