Three injured in robbery bid

Three victims shifted to Allied Hospital by police and an investigation is launched

DIJKOT:

Three bystanders sustained gunshot wounds while resisting a robbery.

A resident of 202 Rabb Bhaiwala identified as 27-year-old Fahad Muneer was shot in the stomach by two suspects who robbed hi shop within the area of Millat Town Police Station on Saturday. After receiving on-site medical attention, he was sent to the hospital.

After finishing his duties at a nearby mill, 32-year-old Shahzad was stopped by suspected bandits who were waiting at a barricade to rob him. When he resisted, the suspects shot him, leaving him injured.

Meanwhile, Nabeel Ahmad was riding his motorbike when three suspected muggers stopped him at Milanpur Chowk and attempted to rob him. When he refused to comply, the suspects shot Nabeel.

The three victims were shifted to Allied Hospital by police and an investigation was launched.

Meanwhile, Munianwala checkpost police arrested three suspects, including the suspected ringleader of a robbers’ gang.

The police raided various places and arrested Rashid Ali and his accomplices, Adeel Mehmood and Shehzad Hussain.
