Sufi Muhammad's sons presented in court

43 militants including three sons of TNSM founder Sufi Muhammad were presented in an anti terrorism court in Mingora today.

Forty three militants including three sons of Tehreek-e-Nafaz-e-Shariat-e-Mohammadi (TNSM) founder Sufi Muhammad were presented in an anti terrorism court in Mingora on Tuesday.

Sufi Muhammad's sons include Abdullah, Abdur Rehman and Fazalullah. These militants were arrested during operation Rah-e-Rast in Swat last year.

They are accused of terrorism and waging a war against the state.

Sufi Muhammad himself was not presented in the court due to security reasons.

The banned organization's chief was arrested last year during the military operation against militants in Swat. Sufi Muhammad was accused of supporting the Taliban and issuing decrees in their favour.

His son-in-law Maulana Fazlullah was leading the militants in Swat at the time he got arrested.

Noor Nabi | 14 years ago | Reply This is a good first step. As others have commented the likes of Sufi are, indeed, the biggest threat to the existence of Pakistan. One hopes that Hafiz Saeed will be next. The total failure and helplessness of Pakistan’s law-enforcing authorities, as well as its superior judiciary, to pin this chap down raises some serious questions. What does he know and how long has he known it?

In fact, they know nothing about Islam and its social justice system ,they could not set up a single court and was victimized sectarianism,shops set on fire without paying compensation, compelled the people for joining force,deliberately tried to maintained state in state. Cleric issued Fatwas declaring parliament, judiciary,federal government and other institution of the state Unislamic and Haram. local people were also instigating for civil disobedience arms were distributed hair-dress shops were also set on ablaze. Footage of the camera is still alive, women were arrested and lashed them in the open public,notwithstanding the fact that Islamic law permit no such barbarian act.they received money not as a tax but money by force. They committed crime and crime and tried to divide Pakistan into small pieces They wanted to make Pakistan international market of heroin and other like things. they are criminal and deserve no sympathy.
