Rescue 1122 trained a women volunteer team in Ladhar village on how to provide first aid.
According to a spokesperson, students and teachers taking courses at the Women Empowerment Institute in Ladhar village were trained in handling emergencies such as heart attack, accident, bone fracture, fall from a height, unconsciousness and fire. More than 80 women participated in the three-day course.
The District Emergency Officer, Naveed Iqbal, visited Ladhar village and inspected the process. The trainers also presented before their students a practical model of providing timely medical aid in various emergencies.
Certificates of appreciation were also distributed among the women.
