Two killed in targeted drive-by shooting
Two men were killed while a woman sustained injuries in the incident of target killing near Nazimabad Inquiry Office.
Reportedly, armed men riding motorcycles opened indiscriminate fire at the vehicle, killing 45-year-old Muhammad Kashif while his wife, Beenish, in the back seat sustained injury.
SSP Central Faisal Abdullah Chachar said that the couple with their driver had left the wedding hall near Sakhi Hassan after attending a wedding ceremony when the terrorists targeted their car.
The SSP said that Qureshi was shot nine times, the driver of the car received two bullets while Qureshi's wife was injured by a bullet on her left hand.

According to the Crime Scene Unit, shots were fired from both sides of the car. The police also found empty shells of 30-bore pistols while checking the car.
The deceased, Tariq Qureshi, was the brother-in-law of the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) central official Faisal Sheikh. A large number of PPP leaders and workers reached Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
PPP leader, Asad Hanif, said that anarchy is being created in the city as part of a well-thought-out conspiracy to divert the public attention from the upcoming elections.
