Minimum temperature at Jinnah Terminal recorded at 13.9 degrees on Saturday morning

A slight increase in cold is expected in the city starting today (Sunday), the Met Office announced.

Due to north-easterly winds blowing in Balochistan, the minimum temperature is expected to fall to 13 degrees Celsius for most part of the day. The minimum temperature at the official weather station of the meteorological department was 14.5 degrees Celsius.

The minimum temperature at Jinnah Terminal was recorded at 13.9 degrees on Saturday morning while in Gulistan-e-Jauhar it was 14 degrees in Gulistan Jauhar and in Shah Faisal it was 16.5 degrees. The minimum temperature was recorded at 14.5 degrees Celsius at the official weather recording station near Pahlwan Goth.

According to the meteorological department’s Early Warning Centre, the weather in the city is expected to remain dry and cool at night for the next three days. A slight increase in cold is expected due to the less pressure of sea breezes and northeasterly winds blowing in Balochistan most of the time. As per the Chief Meteorologist Karachi, Sardar Sarfraz, there is no possibility of rain.
