Police resolve mystery of two blind murders

After incapacitating him, Talib allegedly killed Azhar, placed body in bag: reports

The police claimed on Saturday that they have cracked two blind murder cases and arrested two suspects. 

In the first case, the body of Azhar Hussain was discovered in a bag on a footpath in the Khuda Ki Basti area on November 13. Amjad Kiyani, SHO Surjani Town police station, revealed the arrest of suspect Talib Hussain, former husband of a woman Naz, who had married the deceased, Azhar.

The SHO said that Talib, along with his wife and children, had shifted to Faisalabad, where Azhar and Naz developed an affair and eventually got married.

As per the information, the accused purchased a travel bag, belt, and sleeping pills and went to Azhar's residence to discuss matters related to the children.

During this meeting, he allegedly dissolved sleeping pills into Azhar's tea. After incapacitating him, Talib allegedly killed Azhar, placed the body in a bag, and fled the scene by taking a rickshaw to Surjani Town, leaving the bag on a footpath.

In a second incident, the Sher Shah police apprehended a suspect involved in the blind murder of Naseeb Zar, the watchman of an ice factory near Gulbai Chowk. The police arrested the accused identified as Salehullah.
