Foreign delegations from Iran, Indonesia, China, and other countries are actively exploring opportunities and promoting their products and services in Pakistan’s extensive market. This sentiment was shared at the International Consumer Product Fair (ICPF), Beauty Fitness, and Consumer Health Expo held at the Expo Centre in Karachi. Organised by Ecommerce Gateway Pakistan, the four-day event commenced on December 14 and is scheduled to continue until December 17.
Jiangxi Jishui Jixing Stationery, a Chinese company specialising in stationery, expressed optimism about the vast Pakistani market. While the manager, Nara, noted a relatively modest footfall at their stall, they remain hopeful, citing the significant market potential in Pakistan. Despite three years of selling stationery in Pakistan, this is their first participation in the fair.
Another participant, Renaldy Ramanda Putra from Indonesia, engaged in guiding visitors on tourist visas to Indonesia, highlighted the exciting places and vast market potential in his home country. He expressed enjoyment in explaining Indonesia’s rich culture and diverse culinary offerings to the visitors at the fair.

Salman Naimati, representing Iran, showcased “Tahini Halva” with a variety of flavours. Seeking local distributors, Naimati expressed openness to adapting product names to suit local preferences. The emphasis is on collaborating with local distributors to introduce their tasty and delicious products in the Pakistani market.
The ICPF features almost 400 stalls, including 40 from foreign companies, attracting visitors interested in a diverse array of consumer products. From electronics to household items, fashion, and beauty products, the exhibition provides a comprehensive overview of the latest trends and innovations.
