The Islamabad Bar Association, staunch proponents of the rule of law, asserts the imperative of timely elections and vows to uphold constitutional supremacy.

In a statement issued by the bar association’s Secretary, Asad Naveed Bhatti, it is emphasized that the Constitution clearly mandates elections to occur at their designated times, a principle underscored by the esteemed Supreme Court of Pakistan in its decisions.

The association demands that elections proceed as scheduled, aligning with constitutional provisions and judicial directives.
Furthermore, the Islamabad Bar Association commits to persisting in its historical efforts and pledges to vehemently oppose any actions that undermine the integrity of the electoral process.
